A manuscript (abbreviated MS for singular and MSS for plural) was, traditionally, any document written by hand – or, once practical typewriters became available, typewritten — as opposed to mechanically printed or reproduced in some indirect or automated way.
Our studio uses scanning equipment that is built specifically for bound and loose valuable documents. These are the only equipment that should be used for digital preservation of manuscripts. These machines are specifically designed to scan rare and fragile material, such as valuable manuscripts.

Our non standard slide and negative strip scanning is perfect for corporate, archive companies and consumer clients that batch small to large batches of slides. These formats require more specialist handling. With 3D stereo slides we would usually only scan one side unless advised.
