We work extensively with historical and archive companies and museums, production houses and consumer clients with their 8-track audio reel to reels. All tapes are baked prior to conversion, ensuring a once-only-pass for the highest quality conversion.
Outputs to include Waveform Audio File Format (WAV, WAVE, Broadcast BWF) AIFF, MP3 or CD in formats 16-bit 44.1 kHz (CD) upto 24-bit 192 kHz for the recommended quality outputs in line with iASA Industry Standards.
Our audio department use professional Revox R8 8-track quarter inch tape decks for high quality production of corporate and domestic magnetic audio reel to reel tapes. The specifications of these machines include a track system with 8-track, 8-channel, stereo/multi channel, taking 7" reels with tape speed 15 ips. The Revox has a Dolby C noise reduction built into the deck if tapes were recorded using this.

Audio DAT Tapes
