DVCPRO HD, also known as DVCPRO100 is a high-definition video format that can be thought of as four DV codecs that work in parallel. Video data rate depends on frame rate and can be as low as 40 Mbit/s for 24 frame/s mode and as high as 100 Mbit/s for 50/60 frame/s modes. Like DVCPRO50, DVCPRO HD employs 4:2:2 color sampling.

Our heritage SD (standard definition) video tape digitisation service support clients with audio-visual video tape digitisation from 1 video tape to 1000's. Based around World Leading AWS conversion and Blackmagic units we offer archival preservation video outputs to include 10-bit uncompressed, FFV1 lossless for the recommended quality outputs in line with iASA Industry Standards. To include all Pro-Res outputs, Quicktime .MOV video files.

| USING THE HIGH PERFORMANCE, HIGH QUALITY ENCODING FROM AWS ELEMENTAL AND BLACKMAGIC DECKS How do you capture video tapes ? We use Blackmagic and AWS Elemental conversion units. With built in high quality de-interlacing, our conversion units offer the most advanced improved image uality with excellent noise reduction. What professional machines do you use? U-Matic SP decks, Sony Digital Betacam, DigiBeta, BetacamSP BetacamSX MPEG IMX, DV Decks, DVCam, DVCamHD, Panasonic Decks, DVCPRO, DVCPRO50 - For both large and small video tapes Can you up-scale SD to HD? Yes, our hardware can up-scale digital files which offer image sampling, edge detection techniques and multi-direction diagonal filters. Are tapes cleaned before transfer? All tapes are gently cleaned. This is to ensure the best possible conversion but also to preserve our machinery. Can I drop orders in or post them to you? You are most welcome to bring orders in to our office. Alternatively, you can send your order using the Post Office or our couriers. How long do the orders take to process? This depends upon the order and the difficulties associated with magnetic tape. We would need to assess your order to offer an exact timeline.
