BETAMAX TAPE CONVERSION TO DVD, BLU-RAY OR MPEG4
The Betamax format lost the battle with VHS tapes in the 1980's but nonetheless was very popular. Many people have Beta Tapes and a plethora of home movie memories were captured on this format.
Please send all videos by post. Oxford Duplication Centre, 29 Banbury Road, Kidlington OX5 1AQ. Alternatively you can bring them into our office during our premises opening hours. Tapes can be bulked together to make excellent use of our discounts, these include:
- VHS, VHS-C & SVHS (PAL, SECAM OR NTSC)
- Betamax
- Video8, Digital8 and HI8 (PAL OR NTSC)
- MiniDV, HDV AND MicroMV (PAL OR NTSC)
- SD Memory Cards
- Camcorder Hard Drives
All orders can be converted to DVD, Blu-Ray or more modern format MPEG4 which is perfect for uploading to cloud, tablets and computers for playback.
Conversions and extractions of smart phones, iphones, pads and other hard drives are supported. Please do ask for further information.

Full featured professional top of the line SuperBetahi-fi stereo VCR. Uses Sony's DA4+FE 6-head design to deliver a picture that is as clear and crisp in variable-speed playback and still as it is in standard playback. Scene transitions and insertions are smooth, clean and glitch-free. Flying erase (FE) heads mounted on the video disk, clear the tape field-by-field. Built-in framing servo works in conjunction with another companion editing GCS-50 to assure that edits and playback are stable and clear.
