Half Inch 8 Track Reel to Reel Transfers in Oxfordshire UK
Our impressive audio department have Tascam TSR-8 8-Track Decks, which support our clients with 8-tracks, 8-channel, stereo/multi channel system, taking reel sizes upto 10.5" at 15 ips.
1/2" is still in use by many engineers around the world today but digitising allows for safekeeping, and editing and mixing digitally. This is also critical to preserve the recordings, since magnetic tape has a finite lifespan.
Outputs to include Waveform Audio File Format (WAV, WAVE, Broadcast BWF) AIFF, MP3 or CD in formats 16-bit 44.1 kHz (CD) upto 24-bit 192 kHz for the recommended quality outputs in line with iASA Industry Standards.

Audio DAT Tapes
Digital Audio Tape (DAT or R-DAT) is a signal recording and playback medium developed by Sony and introduced in 1987. Like most formats of videocassette, a DAT cassette may only be recorded and played in one direction, unlike an analog compact audio cassette.
