Convert Old Video Tapes | Video8 Hi8 Digital8
Video8 was the earliest of the three formats, and is entirely analog with a luminence resolution of 240 lines. Video8 was launched in 1984, into a market dominated by the VHS-C and Betamax formats. The 8mm tape width was chosen as smaller successor to the 12mm Betamax format, using similar technology (including U-shaped tape loading) but in a smaller configuration in response to the small configuration VHS-C compact camcorders introduced by the competition.
All tapes are prepared by our in-house engineers. With over 10 years of experience you can trust our expertise and experience to look after all your family video tapes.
